The New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation's Small Business Environmental Assistance Program (SBEAP) provides free, confidential technical assistance to small businesses in New York State to help them comply with federal or State air emission requirements.

In January 2006, the states that administer this national program voted to change the name from Small Business Assistance Program (SBAP) to Small Business Environmental Assistance Program (SBEAP).  This should help convey a clearer message of the program's mission.  The name may have changed – but the services haven’t!
